ten killed in riot

Rec. Oct. 5, 7.15 p.m. SANTIAGO, (Chile), Sun. It is unofficially announced that 10 persons were killed during rioting to-day while the presidential eleetion was proceeding. Partial but indicative returns of the voting suggest that Dr. Julian Montero, the Conservative candidate, has polled more than 50 per cent. of the votes cast.
