japanese accused of being behind independence movement CIIANG HSUEH-LIANG'S CHARGE

The young Marshal Chang Hsuehliang has declared that the independence movement in Manchuria has has been created by Japanese intrigue, consequently the Japanese military authorities announce that all friendly relations with him have been broken off and the Japanese military advisers have been recalled. This is regarded as the most serious move since the Mukden explosion.
