RIFLE SHOOTING
ARAWA MINIATURE CLUB The Arawa Miniature Rifle Club held its usual weekly shoot at the Drill Hall last night, 15 members at- . tending, of whom only one failed to obtain 100 or over. W. Beamish established a club record by putting on 68 out of the possible 70 in the rapid practice — 7 shots in 63 seconds. Members of the club express their determination to beat the R.S.A. A team to-night. The following are last night's scores : — ! R. Price, 124; W. Beamish, i23; J. Martin, 121; F. Richai'dson, 118; A. Ford, 118; W. Donaldson, 117; K. Donaldson, 115; R. Norman, 114; H. Ford, 113; P. Allen, 110; R. Henderson, 108; H. Montague, 106; R. Hay, 103; R. Fairjey, 101; S. Carter, 92. Match with R.S.A. The following team has been selected to fire against the R.S.A. tonight : — F. Richardson, K. Donaldson, H. Montague, A. Ford, R. Hay, W. Donaldson, W. Beamish, R. Price, R. Norman, J. Martin. Members of the team will assemble at 7 p.m. It is also hoped that those not in the team will be present.
