POLICE INTENSIFY SEARCH FOR CLUES TO CYCLIST'S DEATH CONSTABLES GUARD SCENE PALMERSTON N., Thursday It is reported that there has been an intensification of the search for clues in connection with the murder of Edwin J. Blakeway at Karere several weeks ago. Constables, working in shifts, have been guarding the scene of the crime' for the past 60 hours. The groundhas been cleared and the grass between the road and the fence, anarea of 14 yards by 10 yards, has been laid bare. Upwards of a score of police officials are engaged in sieving the soil, and a large tarpaulin covered the area of investigations when work ceased yesterday.
