CANBERRA, Wednesday. Hr. E. G. Theodore, the Federal Treasurer, referring to the possibility that Great Britain might revert to bimetallic currency, expressed the opinion that she had gone ofi' the gold standard permanently, and either a silver currency would be linked with the gold as a common measure of value, or some niore complex basis with the currency of those countries ha\ing central reserve banlcs would be i'ound.
