PONSONBY WINS
Beaten by superior combination and concerted play, a Rotorua team went down to a fifteen from the Ponsonby Club (Auckland) 12-6. The game produced some sound football but was inclined to be uninteresting. Rotorua, who numbered four junior playei's in their ranks opened the scoring when Skelly got over from a dribbling rush which carried the ball to the Ponsonby, line. Rotorua's only further entry was secured in the second spell when Steele made a good opening to send Keegan over. Buchan, Melson and Skinner (2), were the try-getters for the visitors. | Mr L. Clark was referee. j
