WELLINGTON RIOT
MEN BEFORE COURT DESCRIBED BY POLICE AS "MUGS" INSTIGATORS MORE DISCREET WELLINGTON, Thursday. The men concerned in the disturbance at Parliament House, Bernard Reginald Boston, Henry James Russell, Vincent Robinson and William Benjamin Willcinson, were charged with obstrueting the police in the execution of their duty and with damaging the clothes of the police. Sub-Inspector Lander said that these men were more "mugs" than anything else, as the instigators of the disturbance retired to the rear when they got the row started. Accused were remanded until Monday, bail being allowed.
