PARKER CRAMER'S FATE

LONDON, Wednesday. j A British trawler picked up in the ! North Sea the wreckage of a mono- 1 plane, identified from markings as ! that of Mr. Parker Cramer. Mr Parker Cramer and Mr Bert Hassell left Rockford, 'Illinois, in I August, 1929, to fly to Sweden, via Greenland, but had to make a forced landing in Greenland, where they ' were rescued by a scientific expedi- I tion under Professor Hobbs, after they had been given up as lost. They were taken to Denmark. Mr Cramer j was one of the pilots with Sir Hubert 1 Wilkins on his second expedition to 1 the Antarctic in 1928-29. Mr Cramer ! left Shetland for Copenhagen at the j beginning of last August, and has i not since been reported.
