DOMINION CICKETERS J. GUNN COMPILES CENTURY FOR SIR J. CAHN'S ELEVEN HOME SIDE DECLARE

NOTTINGHAM, Tuesday. The New Zealand cricketers concluded the last mateh of their tour at Nottingham to-day, when their game againsf" Sir Julien Cahn's team was drawn. When stumps were drawn yesterday New Zealand had been dismissed for 196, while Sir Julien Cahn's team had lost two wickets for 78 runs. To-day the home team declared with eight wickets down for 312, and New Zealand had lost two wickets for 129 when time was called. Steady batting by Gunn gave Sir Julien Cahn's team a first innings lead. The veteran Notts batsman, now agedc55, gave a sterling display. He scored the majority of his runs in front of the wicket and was undefeated at the close. He batted for 183 minutes and hit 13 fours. Blunt and Matheson frequently bowled well, but Gunn played steadily. _ Vivian, with 20 overs, and Allcott with 18, kept the batsmen quiet. New Zealand batted 'for 70 minutes. Vivian and James scored 64 in the first half-hour. The New Zealanders ajrrived in London to-night, and liave nine days' free leave prior to their departure on the Ruahine. Several members of the team are visiting the Continent, while others are staying with friends in England. RECORD OF TOUR The New Zealand cricketers, on their tour this year, played 36 matches, won 7, lost 3, while 26 were drawn. Rain interferecl with the conclusion of 12 games. The 1927 New Zealand team played 39 matches, winning 12 and losing 5 games, while 22 were indecisive.
