-Copyright.

By Telephone — "Post Special Service. LONDON, Tuesday. The "Daily Express" says that Parliament was staggered at the disclosure of an adverse trade balance of £246,000,000 for the last eight months. The Cabinet has appointed a tripartite committeq to consider -.the adverse balance, and to report as quickly as possible to' the Cabinet as to how it can • be "remedied. The "Daily Express" says Mr MacDonald has decided that this is a better and quieker medium than a Board of Trade Committee. It is understood there will be no restriction to the scope of the inquiry which may even consider a tariff and also Mr. W. Runciman's plan for prohibiting luxuries.
