KAHUKURA SWAMPED

On No. 2 ground, Whaka swamped Kahukura by 8 to nil in the second knock-out game for the Mitchell Shield. The losers, who were last season's winners of the shield, and runners-up in this year's senior champiopship, could only gather together half a dozen of the. regular team and had to fill up with juniors who had just piayed a strenuous game against Kaharoa. Mr R. Mason had charge of the game.
