R.S.A. RIFLEMENT
WEIR MAKES RECORD FOR M1NIATURE RANGE Members of the Rotorua Returned Soldiers' Association held a praetice shoot on Wednesday evening'on the miniature rifle range at the drill hall. The highest score ever registered on the range was made.by G. H. Weir, with a total of 182, out of a p'ossible 200. Following are the seores: — Weir, 91, 91, 182; Bates, 86, 85, {171; Walker, 87, 84, 171; Reid, 81, 80, 161; Yallop, 84, 72, 156; Gillett, 76, 72, 148; Clarke, 71, 72, 143; Knight, 70, 72, 142; Alexander, 77, 58, 135; Mason, 64, 59, 123; Pepper, 40, 66, 106. Total, 1638. Average 149. The next shoot will be held on Tuesday next when the Returned Soldiers' | Association will fire a mateh with a ■ team from the R.M. Transport Co.
