AUCKLAND FIRE
TIMBER STACKS BURNED AUCKLAND, Thursday. A fire early this morning burned large stacks of timber owned by Wools, Allen, Limited, at Morningside, and threatened 'neighbouring houses. A drying shed, staclced to the roof with seasoned timber, was ablaze 'when the brigade arrived, and it took nearly two hours to subdue the flames. The loss is estimated at £4000. The insurance is £2500 iix the Upited Company.
