ATTEMPT TO SOLVE MYSTERY OF EDWIN BLAKEWAY'S DEATH LARGE POLICE FORCE ENGAGED

PALMERSTON N., Saturday. Detectives from all parts of the Dominion are engaged in inquiries concerning the murder of Edwin J. Blakeway at Karere, nearly a fortnight ago. The latest arrivals are from Auckland and Wellington. The police now have a car placed at their disposal solely for their work on the case. It is understood the number of leading police officers engaged is one of the greatest ever assembled in the Dominion.
