GIRL FLYER INJURED

forgot to close the throttle MISHAP WHEN TAKING OFF WELLINGTON, Friday. A girl pupil had rather an alarming experience at the Rongotai aerodrome this morning. She had been up, and was taxiing across the ground preparatory to taking off again when the engine choked and stopped. The instructor sent a man to the girl's assistance, but meanwhile she got out to turn the propellor over. She forgot, however, to close the throttle, and was knocked over. The 'plane sped across the aerodrpme for 50 yards, and capsized, but was not ser'iously damaged. The pupil f ortunately, was only injured slightly. — rffi-Hnoti taoinshrdlutioa
