ADELAIDE, Friday. " Torrential rains resulted in the creeks overflowing, and water is entering many homes in the suburbs. Thousands of pounds of damage was caused by the flood. Lake Torrens overflowed its banks in several places and the suburb of Kent Town was flood.ed to a depth of four feet in -places. A cloudburst at Norton's Summit resulted- in tons of earth slipping on to the main road, blocking traffie. An immense volume of water is pouring over tbe weir at Torrens Lake.
