LABOUR VIEWS ON ECONOMY PLANS IN BRITAIN LONDON, Wednesday. The 'Daily Herald" features what it called f'The Menace of the False Thrift Mania." The "Herald" complains that Tory municipalities throughout the country are making slashing cuts in expenditure and setting up special economy committees and pleads that zeal in economy is valueless if it increases the number of unemployed.
