BRIGHT PARTY

Last Friday evening Miss Mary Bertram was hostess at a very bright and very enjoyable little dance held at her home, Glenholme, in Ranolf Street, on the occasion of her eighteenth birthday- Miss Bertram received her guests wearing a frock of buttercup shaded taffetas and silk net. Mrs. Bertram wore black ninon, gold trimmed, with a brocade coatee. The dance rooms were gaily decorated with coloured streamers and spring flowers, mostly daffodils and jonquils. Ping-pong was played on the verandah- During the evening Miss V. Steele succeeded in winning the Monte Carlo prize.
