LONDON, Tuesday. Lloyd's underwriters have received a claim for £40,000 under a guarantee policy issued to a Ghicago bank. This is a record, although it is understood the loss by the Chicago bank is actually £70,000, due to the defalcations of .an employee over the last ten years.
