LONDON, Tuesday. The National Liberal Federation, n respect to a proposal hy the Trad»s Union Congress conce'rning a reTenue tarilf as an alternative to ecolomies and increased taxation, have ssued a manifesto stating that the ;alvation of the national credit is at uresent the supreme issue. Though the Federation believes the ibandonment of free trade would be i disaster almost equal to the crash >f sterling, the opinion is expressed ;hat attention should be concentrated )n the immediate issue.
