RESCUED RECOVERING
SEVERAL RETURN HOME (Received 11.30 p.m.) THE CHATEAU, Wed. The reseued members of the studnts mountaineering party are makng an exeellent recovery, and a number have retur ned to their homes. Mr Stewart MacDiarmid and Mr. Uan Flynn went last night, and Miss Tva Ellett this morning. Mr Bruce Ipooner and Mr -Gordon Harris are ;oir.g to-night. To-morrow, Miss Tsme Brokett and Misses Moya and Gweneth Watkins are returning to their homes. Mr Gordon Harris, Mr •rohn C. Graham, Miss Fitzie Morris >nd Miss Julia Rennie are still in bed. Mr Graham Beil has completely recovered, and joined the search party yesterday. He is remaining at the Chaceau until Mr Stanton is fohnd.
