BRIGHTON, Tuesday. The .Sussex v. New Zealand cricket inatch 'was continued to-day in fine" weather. Sussex declared their first innings elosed with nine wickets down for 549 runs, leaving New Zealand 164 behind in the first innings. In New Zealand's second innings, Dempster was bowled early by a ball from Tate which turned in sharply. Mills and Blunt batted in their best form. Details of the scores are: — Sussex.
