PLAY DURING WEEK. ^ A sextette sequence was played on the Government Gardens bowling greeh on Saturday and resulted as follows: — A Steele, A. H. Brackebush and J. W. Webber )skip) defeated G. Watts, E. Dawson and A. S. Lasenby (skip) by 19 points to 17; and J. Doyle, A. E. Polglase and J. R. Lundon (skip) defeated J. Tyson, A. Queenin and A. E. Plummer (skip) by 26 points to 12. A pairs competition was also played with the following result: — J. R. Blencowe and R. Miller (skip) defeated W. Lindsay and R. Brownie( skip) by 27 points to 12; J. Morgan and F. Lee (skip) defeated W. Chambers and W. Jones (skip) by 25 points to 13. A pairs match was also contested on Thursday, when F. Lee (skip) and J. B. Morrison, 18, defeated J. W. Webber (skip) and A. S. Lasenby, 17. On Wednesday, a sextette sequence resulted in G. Watts, F. Lee and J. R. Lundon (skip), 30 defeating P. Tapp, A. S. Lasenby and A.* Steele, 20.
