NAPIER, Monday. A car collided at Taradale last night with a power pole, resulting in serious injuries to A. Whiti Whiti (driver), his wife and child, and his sister-in-law, Mrs Matu, who were admitted to hospital. W. F. Desha was also injured, but was able to proceed to his home after first aid treatment. f The child died early this morning. The latest reports State. that the two women are in a serious condition, while the man has improved whatIt is understoqd that Whiti Whiti attempted to pass another car, and his car skidded, struck a culvert, and crashed into a pole. The car was wrecked beyond repair.
