SEQUEL TO CYCLE GOLLISION.

A claim for £2000 following the death of Joseph Fox in a collision between a motor cycle and a bicyclc was heard in the Supreme Court today before Mr. Justice Adams a-nd a jury. Tbe claim was made by Fox's widow on behalf of herself and her daughter. The defendant was Ronald David Chcsholm, the rider of the motor cycle in tbe accident. The evidence of eys-witnesses was that Fox was riding his bicycle up Colombo Street at ahout four miles an hour when Chisholm rode in the same direction at upwards of 30 miles an hour and overtook him, striking tbe rear wheel of the bicycle and causing Fox to fall heavily. Witnesses assertfd that there was no light on the mitor cycle. The jury awarded £1100 to the widow, no award being made to the daughter.
