FEARS FOR SAFETY.

SYDNEY, August 25. Fears for the safety of tba aviator, Brjadbant, who began his flight round Australia juat after midnight on Monday and reached Brisbane and Townsville, are expressed. He was last seen in the vicinity of Rockhampton the sarae day. A search aeroplane to-day sighted a bogged aeroplane in tbs mud on an island in tbe Styx River, 100 miles north of R>ckhampton. There was no sign of Broadbent, but tbe aeroplane appeared undamaged. A land party has gone to the sceqe.
