By Telephone— "Post" Special Service. AUCKLAND, Tuesday. An aged woman living alone in Karaka Street, Newton, Mrs. L. Reynolds, was struck in the face at her home late yesterday by a Maori, who was found hiding under her bed. The assailant escaped, and has not yet been arrested: j No money was stolen.
