POSTPONEMENT OF POLL.
INTRODUCED IN HOUSE.
WELLINGTON, This day. A Licensing Bill postponing the holding of the triennial licensing poll was introduced in the House of Representatives to-night and on the motion that it be read the first time, Mr. J. McCombs (Labour, Lyttelton) called for a division, but when the motion was put again after the division bells had rung, there was no opposition to the motion. ' The House than proceeded with the financial debate.
