COMMONWEALTH NOTES FORGED.

Two men.were arrested in connection with the forgery of Commonwealth Bank £5 notes, a number of Which were recently discovered in circulation. The prosecution stated that it is believed £3OOO worth have been circulated and only a few recovered. FIVE, MORE ARRESTS MADE. Received Aug. 18, 9.50 a.m. Melbourne, Aug. 18, Three men and two women have been arrested in connection with forged Commonwealth notes.
