Our Naval Brigade, on the 15th, occupied an important military caostal station at .Bagamojo thirty six miles northward of Dar es Salaam CYCLONE IN JAMAICA. GREAT DAMAGE SUSTAINED. Kingston, Aug. 17. A cyclone swept over Southern Jamaica. It is believed the northern end escaped. The banana crops principally suffered. Kingston was cut off from the outside world. Some deaths occuned. AUSTRALIAN CASUALTIES. Sydney Aug. 17. List 194 contains the names of the following New Zealanders'':— Wonnded—Corpl. J. Moore,. Privtate J. McGregor. Wounded and dangerously ill— Sergt. D. Sanson. Skellern and H. Symonds. Progressing favourably—Private F. Foibrs. Returned to duty—Private S. C. F. Wiffin.
