THE SCOUT MOVEMENT.
Sir.—l notice' a letter in your column re Boy Scouts, and wish to say that I have been appointed Commissioner of the Wellington North District by Colonel Cressgrove, Chief Scout, Christchurch, and therefore I will be glad to do anything in my power to further the movement. The first steps would be to appoint a suitable Scout Master and I have power to grant a commission; also two assistants, who will be required if more than a small number of boys enrol. In some centres a committee of the citizens is formed to assist the Scout in various ways. This, however, would come later. lean supply papers, rules etc., which will give an idea of the work on application. —I am, etc., JAMES G. WILSON, Scout Commissioner for Wellington Nqrth Distract, Bulls.
