Denmark, Norway and Sweden huvo iufotmally protested to Germany against the now declaration by which Germuuylwill treat as contraband nearly all goods transported by tbc Baltic NEW ZEALAND DIVISION. OCCUPY THE YPRES SALIENT. Dunedin, August 10. Tbo Hon, Mr Allen states that New Zealand lias a full division in the Held, numbering over 20,000 men, who occupy the Ypres salient. Formerly under the command of General Binlwood, but General Godley, commander of the New Zealand Expeditionary Forte, is now commanding Ibo Aimic Army Corps, including New Zealanders and a portion of the Australians. The Now Zealand Division is under .the command of General Sir A. H. Russell. General Binlwood has taken over a new command,
