THE MANGAPEHI TRAGEDY.
Per Press Association. Te Kniti, Aug. 14. At the adjourned inquest on the body of Kenneth Livingstone, the victim of the shooting tragedy at Mangapehi, Charles Frederick Macfarlane, who was in company with Livingstone, gave evidence similar to that previously published in his statement. A verdict was returned that the deceased died as tlm result of a gunshot wound from a rifle fired by Tui Kairiuka, and was wilfully murdered.
