STILL A VIOLENT CONTEST. A CEASELESS BOMBARDMENT.
(Australian andN.Z. Cable Association). Received August 14, 3 p.m. Rome, August 13. The battle on the Isonzo continues violently. Tolmino and Plezzo have been subjected to a hail of (shells for the past four days. The Italians are pursuing the Austrians ceaselessly eastward of Oppacchiasolaia, and Innumerable guns are bombarding Mounts Sento, S.an Gabrielo and San Marco.
