GIRL MISSIONARY MURDERED

The body of Miss Elsie Sigel, aged 22, who was engaged in missionary and Sunday School [work in Chinatown, New York, has been found in a trunk in a room over a Chinese restaurant, occupied by a Chinaman. It is supposed the murderer started for Vancouver via Colon, on the 11th. Miss Sigel was a grand daughter of the famous General Sigel, who was victorious in the Battle of Carthage in the American Civil War.
