STOCK REPORT.
Messrs Abraham & Williams, Ltd., report on their Johnsonville sale:— A good entry of prime bullocks and sheep were well up to requirements and sold at late rates : Best bullocks £8 7s 6d to £8 15s, lighter £8 to £8 ss, prime heavy wethers 14s 7d to 155,. extra prime wethers 16s 6d, extra prime ewes f3s 7d, plain 9s to 9s 6d, lambs 11s to lls 4d. Messrs Abraham & WilliamsTeport on Marton sale There were, good yarlings of both sheep and cattle. There was a good demand for all classes of sheep and bidding was more spirited than of late. Cattle did not meet with a brisk sale. We quote .—Sheep, .4 and 5 year ewes in lamb 8s Id, 9s 3d, lls 6d to lls 9d, s.m ewes in lamb 6s to 6s. 2d, good lambs 7s 9d to 8s Id, medium do. 4s 6d to 6s 4d, cull do. 8s 2d, empty ewes 6s 3d to 6s 6d, fat ewes 8s 3d, 8s 7d to 9s 6d. Cattle, weaners 10s 6d to f2s, foward bullocks £4 10s, fat do. £6 15s, 20 months steers £2 10s 6d. Pigs, porkers22s to 265.
