This has led Sata Khan, Begir Khan and other Nationalist leaders to take refuge in the Turkish Oon» sulate. They were refused admission to the British Consulate. There are disquieting reports from Teheran regarding the advance of Turkish regulars to Urnmiah. It is stated that many Christians at Maindoab have been massacred. The Armenians are appealing for protection.
