United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Melbourne, May 31. Mr Fisher waited on Earl Dudley early this afternoon and presented, in writing, a request in favour of a dissolution. Earl Dudley intimated that he would give his decision later.
DISSOLUTION REFUSED. Received June 1, 2.25 p.m. Melbourne, June 1. Lord Dudley has refused Mr Fisher’s request for a dissolution and the Gcverrmrnt will rc*fgii.
