AN IMPORTANT SANITARY INVENTION.

Most of onr readers will appreciate the'news that an appliance has at last been invented which overcomes all the inseparable from tbe usual country closet. It needs no words of ours to point out all the evils of the present insanitary conditions generally existing in country districts—the objectionable smells, the flies, the facilities for spreading disease, etc. The “Odourless’ 1 Sanitary Cabinet* •manufactured by Farmer’s Sanitary Pan Go. of New Zealand, Auckland, is designed to overcome these evils, and that it does so in an effective manner is borne out by the testimony of health officers, sanitary Inspectors, doctors, etc., as well as by the large sale the Cabinet is .having. No water, earth or ashes are required ; in their place is used a specially prepared oil, but so economical is it in use that one gallon (costing ss) lasts eight months. The fact that the Cabinet can ba fitted inside the house is a great boon. Mr Newcomb, the manager of the Company, is at present staying at the ;White Hart Hotel, Marten, and ■will be pleased to explain the Cabinet to anjoue interested. "Wa can strongly recommend oor readers to inspect the appliance.
