FATAL ACCIDENT NEAR HUNTERVILLE.

(Special to Advocate.) Huntervillo, May SO,

Alexander Pringle, a well-known road contractor, whilst working at Papanui, together with his son and a man called Lindsay, was overwhelmed by a land slide on Saturday atfernoon, the son and Lindsay escaped with minor iniurie-. Some 40 settlers, on the alarm being given, worked and finally recovered the body at 1 a.m. yesterday. The deceased was brought into Huntervilte to-day where the inquest takes place.
