Kairoma has been scratched for all engagements at Wanganui Meeting. The weather was fine and the tracks in good order, for winding-up gallops. The Porirua horses were out before breakfast. Pawa, Playmate and Gipsy Belle were given useful gallops, Exmoor took charge of Jenkins and went four rounds at top before stopping. He was much distressed afterwards. St. Bill ffleft four furlongs behind very smartly. Ballanoe was given three-quarter, pace work. Nogi, D’Nil and Wirral did long steady work. Shannon Lass and Cauldron covered four furlongs in 54sec. bedgemoor sprinted six furlongs fast. Kiatere and Waipu did a solid mile. Lamsdorff ran the same distance in lmin4Bseo. Rangihaeta had Waitapu for fa companion over a mile at three-quarter pace, both moving very freely. Tilson did a strong round. He is remarkably well. Master Douglas, Jack Pot, Moccasin, Olarabelle, Aroha. Euros, Northern Star, Overtime, Research, Chape Mab, Lady Lucy, Nova, Paione, Astraea, and a number of others did useful work. After breakfast Snip and Gwendoline did a fast mile. Irish Rifle and Daisy Paul ran six furlongs iu°lmin SOseo, the latter being a bead in front.
