STOCK REPORT. Messrs Abraham & Williams, Ltd., report on Johnsonvillo sale :—We offered a good entry of prime beef and sheep. Beef made 20s per 1001 b, best bullocks £8 10a to £8 13s 6d, lighter £8 to £8 ss. Good quality wethers 13s, plain ewes 9s 9d, good lambs 11s 7d to 12s. At our Hunterville sale yesterday we had a big yarding of both sheep and cattle, the demand for both classes being good, only a lew lots going out unsold. Sheep: 4 and 5year ewes in lamb Bs, 6-tooth ewes in lamb 10s, 4-tooth to f.m. ewes in lamb Bs, 2-tooth wethers 9s 9d to 10s 9d, forward ewes 6a 6d to 8s 2d, fat ewes 9a lid, mixed lambs 7s 3d to 7s 4d, culls £4s lid. Cattle : Fat bullocks £6 15s 6d, store bullocks £4 2s 6d to £5 ss, forward cows £2 to £3 11s, fat heifers £3 11s to £4 Is, heifers in calf £2 10a to £3 ss, empty cows 20s to 37s 6d, 18-months steers £2 9s 6d, 2-year heifers in calf £3 15s, 18-months heifers 33s 6d. Pigs: Weaners 6s 6d to 21s. The New Zealand Loan & Mercantile report:—At our Hnnterville sale on Tuesday we had a full yarding of both sheep and cattle. Bidding was brisk and a good sale resulted, the whole yarding except one small pen of cattle being sold at satisfactory prices. We quote:—F.m. ewes in lamb 5s 4d to 6s 4d,' empty ewes 4s bd, fat ewes 8a 6d, mixed lambs 5s 8d to 7s, cull lambs 3s 7d. Cattle; steers £3 15a to £3 16s 6d, do. small £3 14s, 18-mouths steers small 30s, 18-months heifers 26a, fat heifers £3, fat cows £3 15s.
