FEILDING A. & P. ASSOCIATION

A committee meeting was held last night, Mr H. Barrel!, president, in the chair. There were seventeen members present. CORRESPONDENCE. From Manawatn and West Coast A. & P. Association, consenting to contribute,half net loss on recent trip to Momohaki. From A. F. Fitzherherfc and *E. Short, - accepting office as vicepresidents uiid tlie former enclosed a cheque for £5 ss, which was received with thanks. From Director of Feilding Technical School, asking assistance of Association in formation of class |in wool classing. Mr Booth said it was the wrong time to get fleeces. He was willing to give a fleece or two about November. He thought the school should be encouraged. | Mr B. Goodbebere, chairman Technical School Committee, stated that a a teacher cf a wool-classing class was now available. The number of pupils would largely determine the fee. The members of the Association could encourage thair sons or others to attend the class. Mr J. Knight said he could donate a few fleeces at once. Mr Atkinson suggested that the secretary take the names of those ,who could donate fleeces. He thought a sufficient number could be obtained to commence a class. On the motion of Mr Mayo a vote cf thanks was passed to Mr Knight, It was resolved that the Association give its hearty support to the class. It was resolved by unanimous vote that the general meeting be recommended to raise the subscription to £l. The following have been nominated for office Hugh Burrell, as president; being the only nomination will be elected ; as treasurer Mr E. Goodbebere, only nomination will be elected.
