CONDEMNED AUSTRALIAN MEAT.

United Press Association.—By Elec trio Telegraph.—Copyright. Sydney, May 7. In reference to the. shipment of Australian mutton recently condemned in London, it was shipped to Melbourne to thp order of a firm of Sydney exporters, after being twice officially inspected and passed as fair average quality and in good condition. The principal firm concerned cannot understand the reason for condemnation. They have been shipping for years, and have never had a complaint. The meat in question is ewe mutton, and was officially classed second grade. The carcases averaged 471bs each, and the firm cannot see how it was possible to describe them as wasted and emaciated.
