Miss Powdrell .also beat Miss Thomas (Victoria) the Ladies’ Single Handicap. 6—3, 9—7. In the Ladies’ Doubles Handicap ..Mrs Goldie and Miss Grey play the final to-morrow. Received May 3, 10.5 a. m. • Sydney, May 3. There is much disappointment that the tennis match, New Zealand v. 'Victorian ladies, on Davis’ Onp lines has fallen through, owing to the 'Victorian authorities not being prepared to play four aside. ~
