ST. ANDREW’S CHURCH, BULLS.
The annual meeting of parishioners was held'on Thursday evening, there being a good attendance. The Rev. E. I. Sola, vicar, presided. Mr J. M. Dawson read the yearly report which disclosed a healthy condition of affairs in connection with the progress of the Church. The balance-sheet showed a credit of £33 16s 4d, mainly attributable to a large increase in the amount of offertories. In reviewing the -year’s operations the Yicar strongly emphasised the necessity of more regular and frequent attendance at Church services on the part of the congregation generally, and particularly those who accepted the position' of office bearers. Be also announced that he had organised a Young Men’s Club, and a Ladies’ Sewing Guild, both of which, as working for good, he hoped would be cordially supported. The following office bearers were elected Mr B. H. Levett, Clergyman’s Churchwarden; Mr W. McNiekle, Parishioners’ Churchwarden; Messrs J. M. Dawson, D. C Tennent, W. B. Clark, H. A. Qdodall, J. Tricker, K. A. Wilson and T. King, Vestrymen, After a vote of thanks to all who bad assisted in forwarding Church work had been passed, the meeting closed with the Benediction.
