SHOOTING FATALITY.

Per Frees Association. Hokitika, April 14. A sad shooting fatality took place' early this morning, resulting in tin 2 death of Robert McMillan, the Borough, Inspector. It appears deceased went into his yard to shoot a cat and a few minutes later he was found in a state of collapse. The'' pea rifle had evidently gone off accidentally, and the pellet entered his breast. He died half an hour later. He leaves a widow and family of nine. -
