GYMKHANA SPORTS.

MARTON RACECOURSE. On Wednesday, April 31st, the Fern Flats Polo Club intend holding the above sports on the Marton Racecourse, which the Marton Jockey Club has generously lent for the occasion. This will.be the ,first ..occasion oh which sports _of this nature have been held in Marton, and should draw a large attendance. Competitors from the Rangitikei, Fern Flats, Parewanni, and Wanganui Polo . Clubs "-are expeoted to take part and as the events are of an interesting character they should provide an excellent afternoon’s sport. A small charge gof one shilling will be made at the outer gates.. A refreshment booth will be conducted by Mr J, M. Niool. Entries for all events close on Saturday next, April 17th, at 8 p.m., with the secretary, Mr' A. Cameron, at Marton.
