Gore Brown Handicap, 6 furlongs.—Allswell 1, Tatoo and Michaeloff, dead heat, 2. Scratched : Explosive, Spate and Don Hanibal. A great races,won by a head. Time, Imin 18sec.

Onslow Stakes. —Het Volk 1, Tnku Tabu 3, Impulsive 3. Also started : Fleet Arrow, May Koff, Lady Doou, Mary Anne and Etonian. Won by two lengths Antnmn Handicap.—All Red 1, Downfall 3, Waimangn 8. Also started: Sedition, Ngapuka, Sir Prize and First Qua. Won by a head.

The Canterbury Jockey Club’s autumn meeting was concluded at Riccarton to-day in dull weather. The totalisator investments amounted to £14,785, an increase of £2337, while ’ bookmakers’ fees totalled £384 10s. All jockeys wore crape as a mark of respect to the memory of W. O’Connell, who died this morning as a result of injuries received from a fall in the Kildare Hurdles yesterday. Results: — Peterswick Hurdles.—Southern Cross 1, Leonardo 3, Ability 3. Won easily. Time, 3min 32seo. Autumn Nursery.—Broadsword 1, Ingoda 3, Sharpshuote 3. Also started: Perle D’Or, Oymbiform, Boutade, Scotch Plaid, Rialto, Ristori, Gnianforte, and Shawnee. Won by two lengths. Time, Imin 2seo.

Yaldhnrst Welter.—Passion 1, Miss Mischief 3, Contender 3. Also started: Federal, Oiyol, Zetland, Euclid, and Blytheboy. Won by a length. Time, Imin 39 3-sseo. Great Autumn Handicap.—Boniform 1, Tikitere 2, Husbandman 3. Also started : Glencnlloob, All Guns, Waitapu, Field Gun, Osiris and Consolation. Husbandman was first into the straight, closely followed by Tikitere, Field Gun, Consolation and Bouiform. At the distance Tikitere had Husbandman beaten, but then Bouiform put in his claim and won by a length and a half, Husbandman a neck behind Tikitere. Time, 2min 35seo.

Templeton Handicap.—Armlet 1, Petrovna 2, Ilarita 3. Also started ; Los Angelos, Gold Thread, Woodhey, Serenade, Whistlecraft, Cerise and Blue, and Montreal. Won by a length and a half. Time, Imin loseo.

Final Handicap.—Lady Disdain 1, Chief Lochiel 3, Valdimar 3. Also started: Bollm, Dabchick, Rllerton and Roscommon. Won easily by three lengths. Time, Imin 41seo.

FEILDING J O. MEETING. SECOND DAY. There is beautiful weather and a large attendance for the second day’s racing. There were seven bookmakers outside and three inside. The totalisator figures for the two days were £33,104, against £31,534 last year. Results:— Denbigh Stakes, 6 furlongs.—Mon Ami 1, Hermia 2, Toa Tuhi 3. Scratched: Sandstream. Mon Ami and Hermia led all the way. Won easily by three lengths. Time, Imin 16sec. ■

Awahuri Hack Welter, 1 mile and a distance. —Olemora 1, Midian 2, Canadian 3, Also started: Mississippi. Won comfortably by half a length. Time, 2min 2sec. Kimbolton Hurdles, 1% miles.— Maidi 1, Whataknra 2, Rookby 3. Also started : Master Douglas, Oryx, Paparaehi and Showman. Showman and Paparaehi led foj the first mile, when Maidi took the lead and won by a length. Time, Bmin 21seo. Oroua Hack Hurdles, I}4 miles.— Whimper 1, Rangibaeta 3, Speciosa 3. Scratched: Finnesseur, Speoiosa and Whimper led for first mile, when Rangibaeta came up but could not overtake the winner, who won by three lengths. Time, 3min 49 4-6seeo.

Easter Handicap, miles.— Waipaku 1, Golden Gate 3, Flingot 8. All started. Waipaku, Mahuta, and Tangimoana led past the stand and kept the same order until enter? ing the straight, where Golden Gate overtook Tangimoana and Mahuta, but could not reach the winner, who won easily by one and a half lengths. Time, 2miu 9seo. Rewa Hack Handicap, 6 furlongs— Dervish 1, Nyland 3, Singer 8. Scratched: Guiding Step, Nyland led to the distance followed by Dervish, when the latter came on and won by a length. Time, Imin 16 l-sseo. Makino Welter, one mile.—Eclogue 1. Longner 3, Probability 3. Scratched': Tangeroa and Olemora. A splendid start. The field were bunched all the way. Won by half a length after a haid tussle. Time, Imin 49seo. Maiden Scurry, 5 furlongs.—Prevail 1, Wharekoa 3, Waioura 3. Scratched: Mania, Raugiknra, and The Offertory. Reindeer and Workmaster went to the front early in the race, Reindeer holding a slight advantage.
