WEDDING.
WARREN—McGROU THER. On Wednesday,3lst ult., the Upper Tataenui Church was the scene of a very pietfcy but quiet wedding, the contracting parties being Mr George Warren, third son of Mr Walker Warren, of Upper Tataenui, and Miss Elizabeth MoGronther. eldest daughter of Mr T, MoGronther, of Dunedin. The Rev. D Gordon officiated. The bride, who was given away by lh-> father, looked charming in a dress of blue cloth. She carried a shower bouquet of white anemones and roses and wore the orthodox wreath and veil. She was attended by two bridesmaids --Misses Maud and Daisy Warren, both wearing pretty oream dresses. Mr|E. Thurston acted as best man. As the bride and bridegroom left the Ohnrch, the wedding march was played by Miss McDonald. The bridegroom’s present to the biide ‘was a handsome gold brooch set with pearls, and to the bridemaids pretty wishbone brooches. After the ceremony the guests were entertained at Spring Farm, the leaidence of the bridegroom’s ' father. The happy couple left by the evening train for their new tome ac Kimbolton.
